I am interested in how the relationship between maternal behaviors and child's empathy may be moderated by the child's innate factors. In particular, my thesis, which is a part of the Bio-CEED study, examines how infants' self-regulation moderates the relationship between maternal emotional availability, as measured through observation, and infants' emapthy.
